This home is situated right next to a river that is known to flood. In February there were heavy rains and the homeowner didn't know what to expect but knew the crawlspace had sustained heavy damage. The homeowner wanted as much protection as we could offer, so our sales rep Florencio went out and inspect the damage. He found the crawlspace to be full of mold and water damage, as well as water-soaked soil. He recommended we fully encapsulated the entire crawlspace as well as removing all the soil that was on the foundation and heating ducts. He also recommended we remove all debris from the crawlspace. To sanitize and deal with the mold he recommended we wire brush the wood to and then clean it all with antibacterial supplies to ensure all the mold and rot were gone. We also installed 5 air moved and 2 dehumidifiers to fully dry out all the wood framing and the soil. It was a small space but an extensive job. All involved did an incredible job and the homeowner feels much better about the health of his home!
