System of sump pump seems to be working. Today is the first day of rain and it has been raining for about 9 hours. I checked what I could in the crawl space and it looks dry so far. The pump is quiet and I can tell the difference from the old one. This one seems to pump more often for shorter periods. May be keeping up better than the old one. Time will tell Hope it keeps working this well over periods of heavy rain
